Why Is This Different?
Assessment - I take time to understand your symptoms, history and goals.

Treatments: Clinical Massage

Clinical massage is a soft tissue therapy used to assess and treat areas of pain and restricted mobility. The aim is to provide longer term relief from specific pain.I blend clinical understanding with a whole-person approach to work with the body - not against it.The massage treatment blends a variety of techniques appropriate for you. These may include heat, fascial work, muscular techniques, accupressure and stretching.Your first treatment (75 minutes) - This includes a full consultation, where we discuss any health issues or injuries, assess range of movement, and build your treatment plan. Followed by your bespoke massage treatment and easy to implement self-care advice.Further massage treatments (60 minutes) - We have a brief follow up consultation, followed by your bespoke massage treatment.Additional Treatments
Full Body Massage (60 minutes) - This includes a brief consultation followed by a full body massage. Designed to relax and restore the whole body, rather than specifically working on one area of pain.

Treatments: Scar Massage

Scar massage is a specialised form of gentle soft tissue therapy designed to: Improve scar tissue mobility
Reduce tightness or pain
Improve areas of altered sensation
Improved confidence and comfort around the scar
It can be beneficial for both immature and mature scars from injuries, surgeries, burns, joint replacements, and other traumas (including intraoral scars). Scar massage is safe for all ages - sessions for children can be adjusted according to their age and needs.
Your first treatment (90 minutes) - This includes a full consultation and assessment of scar tissue and surrounding movement. Followed by your scar massage treatment, product guidance and easy to implement self scar massage advice.
Further treatments (60 minutes) - We have a brief follow up consultation, followed by your bespoke scar massage.

Meet Your Therapist

Hi, I'm Hannah. Thank you for being here!
I'm a clinical and scar massage therapist living in beautiful St. Annes On Sea on the Fylde Coast.
I qualified in massage over 20 years ago, but entered a career as a Biomedical Scientist. Returning to what I loved, I then trained at the renowned Jing Institute of Advanced Massage and established Live Well Massage Therapy. My background enables me to combine a sound understanding of science and anatomy, with hands-on soft tissue therapy. My interest in clinical massage comes from wanting to help people understand their pain, improve their movement and regain confidence in their bodies. I wanted to create the experience I couldn't find - a soft tissue treatment that felt relaxing whilst having long term benefits on pain.I expanded into scar massage as I noticed how many of my clients had scars that impacted their movement and wellbeing. Clinical massage was achieving great results but I wanted more specific techniques to impact the scar tissue itself. The Restore method is taught by leading scar educator, Emma Holly, and is utilised by many NHS therapists. The method really felt right for my clients and fit with my ethos and training.I truly believe in 'living well' and so outside my business, I can be found on the beach or in my garden, but always with my family.

Where Can You Find Me
I work predominantly from my clinic room within the Coastal Chiropractic Clinic at 36 St. Andrews Rd Sth, in St. Annes.
I also provide massage to members of St. Annes On Sea Lawn Tennis & Squash Club at the club, and offer wellness sessions for local businesses.
